I'm in full agreement Paul. We're rapidly de-skilling in this hobby like 
we seem to be doing in many other aspects of life. I've always thought 
contests, especially Field Day ones, were to test the basic skills of 
the operators in using a morse key, a transmitter/receiver and knowledge 
of antennas and propagation to make effective communucations ... not how 
to make a computer take over the work!
