[UK-CONTEST] NFD skimmers

Sorry Graham,

Didn't get to see this before NFD - was off to our site in the Deep South at 
0600 Friday (missed my 0530 departure target by half an hour due to the urgent 
need for a second cup of tea....)  and was out of e-mail contact thereafter till 
I got home an hour ago!

Will consider, and respond to, this as part of our more leisurely look at the FD 
rules for the 2012 season. 


Thanks, incidentally, for the inputs on the topic both on and off line.....one 
might say there is signifcant divergence of opinion on the issue out there. But 
all views will be considered.

Sorry to raise this thread again - but I'd be grateful for clarification as
to whether an skimmer attached to an SDR is allowed or not in the restricted
section of NFD? 

If it is, is it only there for decoding CW within the passband of the
current receiver rules, as published?
