Why not have an extreme section? Anything goes what ever you can use you 
can use that gets rid of all arguments on what is in and what is out.

Then define what what can be used in Open and what can be used in 
Restricted. Anything used outside those strict definitions puts you in 
the extreme category. This then makes life very simple for everyone and 
does not stifle innovation.
