[UK-CONTEST] RadCom Contest whinge in the last word again!

Chris,
The ARDF community has its own set of whingers. If you look at page
78 of January's RadCom, you'll see an article written by someone who is
railing against a DF event format used by the Top Band DF fraternity. TBDF
events follow a particular format, whereby there are, typically, two or
three tx sites located within the area of a 50,000 scale Ordnance Survey
map. Event participants travel between tx sites by car, making the event
more of a navigation skills exercise than a physical fitness exercise and,
thus, appealing to a different set of participants to the type of events
enjoyed by the author of the article.
What ever happend to 'live and let live'?

Am thinking of joining the anti-contest brigade.
Take a look at the ARDF Contest feature in the latest RadCom - lotsa
smiling faces of radio amateurs having fun in a contest environment - how
dare they!!
