For the record here is what you have to do, starting from scratch (NB -
UK *CLUB* SCCs only)

1. Go online and follow the instructions to create a completely separate
LotW account for your club's primary callsign - not the SCC and not your
personal callsign either (unless you are the club's "sole proprietor").

Initially you won't be able to do anything useful in this account
because you don't have any "certificates" yet.

2. Offline, use TQSLcert (File / New Certificate Request...) to generate
a request for a signed certificate for your club's primary callsign.
This will create a file called <callsign>.tq5 which will also contain
the name of the club.

3. Scan a copy of the first page of the club's licence for the primary
callsign. You do not need to be the person named on the licence; the UK
licence doesn't actually mention the name of the club, but ARRL are OK
with that.

4. EMAIL the .tq5 file and the copy of the licence DIRECT to Kathy
Allison at ARRL <kallison at arrl.org>

For a UK *CLUB* application, nothing need be sent by post and nobody's
personal details are required.

Within a few working hours (US time) she will email back the authorized
.tq6 file which you can then load into TQSLcert. This will be your
authority to add other club-related calls and sign all of their ADIF log
files for uploading.

You are now back on track with the LotW user instructions.

5. To add the SCC, go back into TQSLcert File / New Certificate Request
and follow the instructions at
<http://www.arrl.org/signed-certificates>. When asked to sign the
certificate for the SCC, highlight the club's primary call.

Once again this generates a .tq5 file. From now on, follow the normal
route to upload .tq5 files to ARRL, which is via the club's LotW
account. Within a few working hours you will get back the authorized
.tq6 file for the SCC.

6. You can add other club-related calls in the same way, all on your own
authority now, and follow the usual procedure to sign and upload their
logs. By default the logs for these different callsigns are NOT linked
together for award purposes.
