HI Bryan and the rest of the group...

Hello from from sunny VP2V not E as you report me :-) Check your log
before you send it in!

I much appreciate the nice report you gave on my 80 and 40m signal....
only using an invertede V "fan dipole" array for all bands held up on
a 16ft fibreglass pole tied to the corner of the veranda at this
beautiful rental villa. However the ground below the veranda drops off
dramatically down to the beach some 500 feet below the house and
that's towards Europe! It's the Moxon slope effect of course. I wish
I could get out like this from my home QTH in Sheffield.

My raw score as per Wintest is 612 Qs for 6755 points. I lost out on
10 and 15 where the hill behind this villa cuts off any prop to the
Pacific. I did work a few VKs and ZLs on 20 and 40 but I did better
from home in that direction last year.

I notice that Wintest wont score ZL50GH so I hope the adjudicating
software will do so and give me the extra points:-)

This was my first time as a non UK BERU entrant and I was staggered at
the extremley strong signals from G on all bands. Some of you guys
must have been just around the corner:-).

I will be QRV on ssb and cw during the coming week, mainly around 1100-1300gmt.

73 Peter, presently VP2V/G3PHO
(not a nice callsign to have to use in a cw contest!!)
