Hi all,
Keith (G6NHU), if you find an answer, please let us know!
I am not a fan of the "new look" RSGB log book, but as far as I was
concerned, this was the new design, and that was an end to it.
Like you, and a few others I suspect, I also use a paper log, even when
contesting, but as I use RTTY, it is so much easier, as I can write the
entry while the TU macro is being sent.
I am now up to log book number 37, with close on 70,000 contacts.
I do use an electronic log (DXKeeper from the AA6YQ DXLab suite), but I do
like that paper log for backup!
Having once lost an entire contest log mid-contest, due to a PC malfunction,
I was extremely pleased to have that paper log handy!
If anyone knows any different, it would be good to know, but I seem to think
that the new version is an "update" to the older variety, and those are no
longer printed.
