Hi Chris
At this stage do not let them know that you know they are scammers and go
along with it so you get the cheque. In the meantime contact the fraud squad
on line. When the cheque comes see what company it is from and let the fraud
squad and the bank know. Very often cheque books get stolen from companies
and sold on. which was my experience when selling a caravan and my advice
was given to me by my next door neighbour. a local Yorkshire bobby.
