CQ don't seem fussed about the physical number of transmitters used in any
category, their focus appears to be upon the number of signals radiated at
one time. I too have listened to C4N and have failed to find a single
incidence of more than one signal on a band at one time.
I have no connection with the C4N group and have no knowledge of the
category they entered. However, so far as I can see, their interleaved run
stations on a single band appear consistent with recent rule
interpretations/enforcements by CQ.
I understand discussions continue over whether this interpretation is the
appropriate one. We'll have to see how things play out and whether rule
clarifications result but if/until then, this is the face of contesting at
the top of the tree.
