Chris - I have already said that CQWW Committee is working on this
particular rule. They have in mind exactly your points! I suspect that when
it is published other contests like WPX will follow suit.

Whilst I am all for technical innovation, I think the CQ WW committee should
quickly make a rule outlawing the C4N tactics. I don't think C4N are the
first to do this, but probably the most noticeable. As someone has already
commented, on our crowded bands it is difficult enough to find a run
frequency, but if every multi-op decides that they are at a disadvantage if
they don't occupy 2 frequencies, then there will be chaos.
I had only limited time in CQ WPX CW but it was noticeable how quickly the
Skimmers / RBN users found me whenever I CQed - another change in the
dynamic of CW contesting.
There is software now which can work a CW pile-up - I'm beginning to feel
redundant !
