[UK-CONTEST] K3 ERR PL1

Apologies for cross posting, wanted to get max coverage.

Just before I contact Elecraft I thought I would ask the question as I recall there may have been a discussion on this. Any thoughts?

K3 #278 - white noise, no signals audible, no tx. ERR PL1 error message on switch on. I have checked that the connectors are seated OK on main and sub 
synth boards.

Doing re-cal gives a message E 00005 which I take it to mean the PLL voltage is out of range. I have a 'scope if anyone knows where to check.

Has anyone swopped the main / sub synthesiser modules over? If so, presumably it is just a matter of swopping over the connectors without removing the 
boards. Anything else to watch for?

I guess Elecraft will supply a new board if required but I will need to remove the panel to do the swop out, which I recall is a bit of a bind.

Looks as though I will have to use the FT1kMP for a while! At least I have key click and IF mods installed plus 400Hz and 250 Hz Inrad filters for CW 
and 2KHz Inrad filters for SSB, but it ain't the same as my K3!!
