Hello Bob,
I was also on for this contest /P and found conditions quite poor. Some 
stations well down on normal plus sudden QSB at times. Band was also noisy 
for me with local power line noise in the fog and the regular clatter from N 
Yorks radar!

IO83 was active but not as busy as normal, you should have worked GW8ASD I 
would have though, he's pretty consistent. I suspect there may some value in 
your statement re. QRM!
IO93 again had activity but I suspect maybe only one loud station workable 
for you.
IO84 was not even worked by me, it's rare but there was at least one station 
active.
IO94 was active, you should have probably been able to work maybe two 
including myself!
IO95 had only one low power station active.

There was activity from GM but I only manages 4 contacts.
I also managed to miss JO01 for some reason!
