K9YC asked me about joining in NCCC's last bulk buy, but when it was
costed out in detail the saving on list prices was completely overtaken
by the extra costs of shipping and handling.... not to mention that
hassle of organising it all.

Even though Mouser's list prices are higher, the 0.00 delivery charge
makes the overall price unbeatable.

If you want big ferrite cores like FT240-31 in the UK, simply go to
gb.mouser.com and order for yourself!
Links to the big Fair-Rite #31 ferrite cores recommended by K9YC are on
my website. (No time to copy them right now - off down the pub for a
nice Sunday afternoon playing music :-)

By all means combine orders with a friend or two (and include Mike
VP8NO) but while the Mouser offer lasts, a bulk buying scheme would be a
waste of time, money and effort.
