Hi Chris,
 
Just for the record, that JR1 was JR5JAQ.  He was a good signal here also, but I had to QRZ a couple of times initially to pull him through strong adjacent channel QRM that was around at that time.

I had a quick listen at around 2145 and thought activity was lower than normal. I only had the 80m dipole available but heard a JR1 call and work 
G3UJE. I was hearing him better than UJE!
