I hadn't noticed this - so thanks for raising the question.

BTW, I'm sure that you mean Club Championships 2012 - and that being so, I
am not sure why the start date has moved back. Have you asked the contest
committee why?  The change probably won't make much difference to overall
scores when they are aggregated, and I suspect that the reason for ditching
the CC contests in January maybe because of the two AFS contests.

I would be interested to know the reason for reducing the quantity of Sprint
events in 2012. A change in the duration seems to be what most entrants who
express an opinion seem to be asking for. 

Hopefully, someone from the RSGB CC members will monitor this reflector and
respond to let us know their thinking - but really, I reckon the best way to
find out is to send an e-mail to the chairman (chairman at rsgbcc.org) and ask

The proposed start date for the CC 2011 is February, comments please.

As for the Sprints, ONE contest per month. That's only two SSB and two CW
contests over four months, hardly a contest . Comments please.
