We've done VHF NFD in the past but most of those who took part are no 
longer interested especially when it involves spending all night in a 
cold & drafty  tent whether it's for a multi or single band contest.
It takes just a few young(er) enthusiastic members which like most clubs 
we sadly lack now, it seems that most youngsters (& some who are not so 
young) interest in 'technology' doesn't extend beyond playing with their 
'I' toys.
