Thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier email (some direct).
I appreciated that doubling of the power output (given two equally
rated generators) was the aim. But I was keen to find out how the two
alternators/inverters were synchronised, ie set to work in phase. I now
understand they are designed to do this and the special cable achieves the
required inter-connection. I had no idea that this could be done with such
generators. We live and learn - or at least I do!
