Hi all

I couldn't comment on the actual CW NFD rule changes, as I don't operate
CW....however

May I ask just how the RSGB Contest Committee is organised? How does one
become a member of the Committee, because as far as I can make out, the only
way to change things is by being on the said committee, and there doesn't
seem to be any process or framework in place to manage their activities.

Perhaps in its desire to be transparent the RSGB should hold elections for
its special interest committee's...the Contest Committee being one of them ?


On a slightly different point, I am looking forward to seeing & reviewing
the new SSB FD rules, but guess they'll now be delayed as the committee sort
out this CW NFD rules hiatus. I am also waiting to plan my SSB FD entry this
year, and impending rule changes (whatever they might be) could well
influence my activities. Somebody mentioned Restricted ambition in the
Restricted section.....not if you are a solo operator doing the whole thing
on your own it isn't!
