It's good to see the results, but I'm disappointed
that the presentation seems to have reverted to a
discredited format - where CW-only, SSB-only and
Mixed-Mode results are lumped together in a single
table.
This is like comparing apples with oranges, since
bonuses apply on both modes for Mixed entries, but
once only for single-mode entries.
There is no such thing as an "overall lead" as
reported in the results. There are 6 individual
winners, one for each entry category, for both UK
and Overseas.
As the results are displayed, we see G4TSH, with
178 CW QSOs in third place, but G4PIQ, with 36
fewer Mixed-Mode QSOs, in first place.
I accept the results can be filtered, but first
impressions count. I believe it would be better
to present the results in separate tables as was
done in 2011
