If an SSB contest is wanted have one, but don't cock up what was a good
contest in its own right, but get more entrants in and give it an
international appeal, for example get rid of bonuses and make them
multipliers.
David you will not improve your CW by doing SSB contests, throw
away the microphone and stick to cw for a couple of years. 73 Clive GM3POI

I disagree, although a significant other appointment meant I couldn't take
part - had I done so, it would have been in SSB since I don't have very good
morse yet.
'Mixed' perhaps is not of value, but CW or SSB is.
