[UK-CONTEST] Some thoughts re RSGB Contest Committee process

There are very strong reasons why full contest logs should NOT be made
open for public viewing, in particular for QSLing and award chasing
where it is far too easy to forge QSOs you didn't actually make. That
is why most online dxpedition logs only show you the bands you have
made contacts on rather than the full details. It also makes mockery of
SWL reports, when all the chap has to do is do an online search then
send you a card claiming he heard you (usually at times when
propagation would indicate he most certainly did not). Many of us
regret CQs decision to make CQWW logs public.
