I am very disappointed with Ed's recent post.
The most important point from my perspective is that the RSGB should not
be making members of local clubs ineligble to take part in the CC as a
local club.
My local club has been working hard to encourage members to take part in
contests but this new rule is very unhelpful.
As is so often the case, rural areas are being disadvantaged as their
different nature is misunderstood.
I suggest that the best position should be to retain the previous rules and
in the next year consult on possible changes.
Is that too much to ask?
