[UK-CONTEST] U.K. contesting in 2012

It's a bit like asking for volunteer instructors for Morse with the GB2CW scheme!
I think that when you have taken part in multi-multi tests for about 15 years, and knowing what
is invovled and how much work there is to do, PLUS having to be away for the whole weekend,
the enthusiasm for marathons have faded!
You also have to consider the social aspect too. I was doing two full-time jobs when I was involved
with G4ANT, and it gradually killed off my marriage.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but tread carefully in that regard! I have the T-shirt and am still
paying for it.
These daysI just like the 90 minutes worth of frenetic activity and then back to normality.
Regards from Roger, G3LDI
Swardeston, Norfolk.
