I like Geoff's (G4AFJ)solution, only give partial call till you receive the
other stations c/s - that'll slow the run rate down.....

But surely the answer is if its a busted call both stations lose the QSO -
that's what happens on VHF so why not on HF?

Nicely researched, very informative and useful it may be but I do wonder
just how it will contribute to resolving the issue under discussion?
