Actually I do not care what others do. I always send 59(9) be it a VHF/UHF or HF contest. I also train our club's newbie contesters to do the same. On HF I do not have time to enter the RST so accept default 599 running a pile at 4+ QSOs per minute. On VHF I can catch up on my reading between QSOs... 73 David
