If you have a 2-1/4" 10 gauge pole, its inside diameter is 1.994 inches. Of
course, to all intents and purposes that looks like 2 inches, but you will
have trouble fitting a 2 inch pole inside.

I've bought lots of tubing from the Aluminium Warehouse. I'm not sure if 
they still have a minimum order but delivery looks like it's under £15.00.

I recently changed my stub mast to 2-1/4" 10swg, about 11ft long. That 
allows a 2" extension to just slide into it, just in case I needed a 
longer stub mast for special occasions. That was only £34.00 from them, 
but at the same time I did order tubing for the 6, 10 and 12M Yagis, so 
the delivery charge wasn't that painful.
