[UK-CONTEST] MICROHAM u2R

With apologies for the cross-posting, I'm looking for advice please.

My u2R is set for SO2R operation and has stopped passing transmit audio to one of the transceivers.

When I spotted this, I did the following:

a) Upgraded the firmware (to be sure)
b) Disconnected the computer and controlled the box only by its buttons
c) Confirmed that this made no difference and that there really was no audio going to R2.
 
I suspect a hardware failure, but before going down that track, is there anything else obvious I have overlooked ? Needless to say, I have checked all the interface cables.

Does anyone with a u2R have any suggestions ?
