[UK-CONTEST] BERU 12hr Restricted section

Hi all

 

Discussion of the RSGB DX contest and BERU 12hr section reminded me of a
question I've been meaning to ask: just what is the point of the 12hr
Restricted section in BERU?

 

I entered the section as usual this year and was very pleasantly surprised
when I came out on top. This was somewhat tempered when I realised there was
nothing at the end of it, not even a section winners certificate. What's the
point of having a section in the contest if you don't get anything at the
end?
