As I see this thread continuing I should comment
When I was running HF Awards for RSGB it was around the time the Postal
District multiplier was introduced by the HFCC
Thinking it was a "good idea" for a new and complimentary award programme I
did some research
THERE IS (maybe WAS now) an award for working UK Postal districts run by a
club in the Midlands if I remember correctly. All listed in the K1BV Awards
directory (the "bible" of award collectors). I did approach them at that
time to see if it was an active award and they assured me it was and didn't
want RSGB taking it over either!
Perhaps worth a revisit as its probably now 10 years since I looked into it
I have to say the previous "complimentary " RSGB award to the 21/28 was the
10m Counties award and that was not at all over subscribed!
