There is nothing to worry about Dave. The rule is to enable the committee to be able to identify those who are cheating by post-contest corrections of the log. This is just a handful of high-scoring entries that they are concerned about.
You must have found situations in the past when some so-called hotshot works you as G3YMK and then doesn't acknowledge your callsign correction? If he does that in future he stands to be penalised.
