[UK-CONTEST] HF and VHF

In response to Rogers initial straw poll I answered  No 1 option.

Now we have a another choice to make and whilst i initially would have chosen separate reflectors it does appear from responses that many VHF guys do have an interest in HF matters and previously I do not recall many occaisions in the past where they have been disruptive or putting the boot in on threads which have related to HF affairs. Their input can be valuable coming from a different standpoint.

After all it is really no big deal to scroll on past threads we have no interest in, it is not as though there are 20+ posts per day on this reflector which may make a case for separation. By all means put HF or VHF in the title but keep it as is.

Splitting the committees would get many votes. Were I on the CC it would be very undesirable, and wrong, to allow me a vote on any VHF matter because I would not understand the consequences of  the issue I was being asked to vote on, rather like many of the part time Board Members of some of the companies I invest  in!
Splitting does beg the question of man power, volunteers are in short supply so we seem to be stuck with the syatem we have.
