Hi All Only commercial log used is Dos-SD, the messages sent can be easily altered in Config file. I use an home brew logger for all logging. In test mode I use enter key for all operations. I can select run or s&p, each works differently. RUN - on pressing enter in active field. CALL FIELD - empty sends cq CALL FIELD - call entered sends call/rpt, jumps to next field for input. CALL FIELD - If dupe sends 'sri QSO B4'. INFO FIELD - sends TU G3VIP, enters details in test log also station log, jumps to call field. S & P - on pressing enter in active field. CALL FIELD - call entered, jumps to info field. INFO FIELD - sends info (call???/rpt Chris it can be edited not to send call), pressing enter 2nd time enters info in log, jumps to call field. F - keys info sent can be altered on fly. F1 - CQ. F2 - sends call/rpt but doesn't jump field, used if only partial call copied. other keys serial, qrz, my call etc. On data I use Hamscope, linked by DDE server to my log, clicking on call rcvd puts it in log and sends rpt exchange to Hamscope, only have to type in info rcvd, press enter works as normal. Uses macros in Hamscope to send info. On SSB I use wave files to call CQ, give mycall, send confirmation etc. when enter pressed in a field, haven't used it on air yet. 73's Graham G3VIP. --- woodg@lindsey.tlfe.org http://www.lindsey.tlfe.org/ -- Email Disclaimer: http://tlfe.org.uk/emaildisclaimer
