Hi All

Don't work much SSB but if somebody is having trouble copying I give call using one set of phonetics then repeat with different set, it usually works.

Many years ago a CW only op (now SK) was persuaded to operate in VHF FD. Not being used to phonetics was spelling Claxby -- C for Charlie, L for (pause), L for (another pause) L for Leather. At this point those in the tent collapsed in fits of laughter, he was a long time living it down.
