Hallo dear meteorscatter-friends,

inbetween we collected again a lot of new details and changes about 
active (and inactive) ms-stations which result in a lot of changes
in our MS-DATABASE file since last release (Vers.1.80 - 10/2001).
We tried also to implement the new mode FSK441 for ms (by the way,
this is still not a confirmed ms-mode by the IARU regulations!) 

Today we are able to present our new free of charge MS-DATABASE issue
Version 1.85! It will be spread out again as a simple text file and 
also we gave you tool to implement a text version direct into the 
new digital ms-program of K1JT, WSJT. 

If you find any details to update in your dataline or if there 
are any faults or anything to comment, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!!
Our DATABASE can be only as good as the users which will do 
the updates!! And of course all these updates are also automaticly 
forward into our big VHF-DATABASE (next issue: Vers.1.90 - 10/2002)!

HELP for extract these MS-DATABASE files: 
If you please copy these files into your harddisk area and extract
it with an unpacking programm - example: 

unzip ms185.zip      > ms185.txt    > abt 203 KB = 2917 calls/infos
unzip ms185_WSJT.zip > callsign.txt > abt  43 KB = 2367 calls/infos
 
The file is transfered from my existant and actual VHF-DATABASE!
So the file is reconstructed into a simple txt-File in which the 
datas are seperated by semikolon. It is packed by ZIP-packer.
So it can be easy read with any normal text-editor, or to have
full access, transfer it to Excel or other spreadsheet programms 
which will have a text converter.

If you want to use our MS-DATABASE within your WSJT programm, use
the ms185_WSJT.zip and extract it direct into your WSJT folder!

There is NO real programm structure around our files, because I 
believe everybody will have his own ideas abt. such data-surface. 
These database CAN NOT built in a DX-cluster neither into the
logbookprogramm of EA6VQ (VQLog) or the contest program written
by OH6HFX! For these operations you do need our big VHF-DATABASE
(for any need, please contact the editor DL8EBW via e-mail)!

Now I wish you gl with this new MS-DATABASE and hope to hear from
you time to time during some good reflections.
