My experience at a multiop station has been that on bands above 6m, it
seems like you need a cavity filter before your preamp if you want to
be able to hear while another band is transmitting.  Ideally, you do
this with relays to get the cavity out of the circuit on transmit, so
that you don't lose 3db or so.
