[VHFcontesting] IC-756 ProII or Mark V FT-1000MP or mark V Field FT-1000?

Any comments from users for weak signal and contesting use at/above 50 
MHz?  I've read the reviews at eHam.net, most seem to have a strong 
focus on HF (not surprising!).
