No subject

Listened on 144.260. Heard bits and pieces of signals to the east. Sadly, my
400W 2M amp is not repaired from the lightning strike last spring, so QRP.
WB9SPT and K2YAZ were active along Lake Michigan. (From K2YAZ note). Talked
with WA8RJF, K8MD and WA8VPD. From watching the UHF TV channels, conditions
were up a bit. Looking at Hepburn's tropo map, things seemed to follow that.
Previous night, several 8's and 9's were working south with good signals. So
some enhanced north - south paths. Will be on Monday evening. Working with
VE3SMA and others, to do some Lake Huron microwave activity experiments in
the near future.
