Just received my June QST and see that Icom has revised the ad for the
IC-703. The phrase "A VHF/UHF rig is called a HT!" has been removed.

I saw the original ad in a complimentary copy of WORLDRADIO I received early
last week. The ICOM / Yaesu debate has now moved on from the FT-100 vs
IC-706 to now the FT-817 vs IC-703. In my opinion ICOM really blew it by
not including 144/430 in the 703. I just recieved my QST and after you
comment I went and looked it up and yep ... its been changed.

Now if Kenwood would come out with a TS-50 w/ V/UHF and a QRP version the
debate would really get fun.
