[VHFcontesting] Subcommittee report

Tom,

Your report has restored my faith.  I sense that the subcommittee, in spite
of some strongly held opinions, has listened.  I hope a dialog can be
established between the subcommittee's stated objective of increased
participation and the group of highly vocal avid vhf contesters (myself
included) who took issue with the tactics.  I think both groups really have
the same goal (what contester wouldn't like to have a bigger population of
potential QSOs?) but only differ in how to achieve them.  If I can help in
this process, I'd like to be the first to volunteer.
