[VHFcontesting] Sequencers and contesting software

I am pretty new to VHF contesting. However, I have done a fair amount of HF
contesting in the past using WriteLog, CT, and NA software.

I have a new twist in the game now that I have added my first preamp /
control relays into the system. When wanting to use my "repeat" CQ mode in the
contest logging software, I have to take the preamp out of line or blow it. My
preamp supplier is the proud owner of a new home and luxury vehicle, thanks to
the number of times I forget to take my rig out of "VOX" or Break-in when
someone finally calls. This of course, because I have not figured out how to
signal my sequencer to switch that preamp out before passing the computer
generated SSB or CW information.

Please drop me a note direct to _k7bv at aol.com_ (mailto:k7bv at aol.com) telling
me what software you are using that allows you to program it such that you
can send your auto CQ message after firing the sequencer. I am a terribly
weak computer person and trust this will get some great answers while providing
the Ol Wizened Ones with a good laugh!

You guys and gals solve the W2SZ/1, Captive Rovers, etc., problems while I
figure out how to get into VHF contesting. Right now, I just want to ask them
and others to please stop blasting up the national calling frequency -
thereby, of course, showing how naive I still am.
