What is mythical is that their operation is somehow
against the rules.  No Grid Circler or Captive Rover
has ever been DQ'd to my knowledge.

Somehow, we got sucked into blaming operators for
ambiguous and contradictory rules.  We gotta stop
that.  These are our competitors and compatriots.

Until the rules change...celebrate their
accomplishments.  When (if) the rules change, someone
somewhere will find another way to "over" maximize
their score and we'll start another thread to discuss
that, then. :))
