[VHFcontesting] VHF High Power T/R Switch

What is generally used for high power (100 - 1500
Watts, different answers for different levels is OK)
T/R switching?  PIN Diodes, relays, either?  Do you
generally buy or build your T/R switches?  If you buy
them, where can you get reasonably priced switches?

Sorry for the plethora of questions, I'm new and
trying to figure out how to move all of this power
around.
