So if it is a contest, are there classes like 300 baud, 1200 baud, 2400 baud, 56k baud (disclaimer - speed is limited to 50k baud), DSL, cable, T1, OC-48, OC-192, ....

How about rovers using wireless?  Can you do computer circling?
