I was curious if there are any plans out there for a solid state (12V input)
2m 400W amp similar to one of the TE Systems units?  If not, why not?  Seems
like as expensive as these things are, you might be able to save some money
by homebrewing one yourself.  Would love to have one of these units for
roving during the contests!
