We need to allow ourselves to think more creatively. 
It's not about QSOing faster (unless 6 meters is open
the term QSO's/Hour is meaningless).  It's about
QSOing at all.  I have caught contest rovers on AX.25
that I would have missed otherwise.  Using simplex
APRS (called HamIM) and keyboard messaging, I've
logged 'em on 2-meters and sent them to other bands to
work on ssb or cw.
