I plan on participating using the "indoor dorm room loop special" :-) Had a bunch of fun with it in the ARRL 160m contest. I mainly consider myself a VHF contester but realized early on that I needed to practice CW if I wanted to maximize my contacts. I heard way too many CW CQ's, and I new I had to learn sooner or later. Plus my N3FJP program has a special module just for Stew Perry logging, so that should help make things easier. Good luck to all... 73's,

That being said, let's try to establish a QRS (slow-speed CW) segment for the Stew Perry VHF SS Warmup (ok...they call it the Top-band DX Challenge). :)> > My 160 meter V-dipole is going up tomorrow (a modest stretch of wire, 40-feet at apex). Whe I call CQ, it will be above 1.855 MHz and will likely be 10 WPM or less. Anyone who replies faster will be asked to QRS ('cause I'm lame that way).> > VHFers...join me!
