Still rounding up operators for an Unlimited Multiop Rover operation...

Although ambitious, there is a possiblility of trying to blast RF out of
at least a half-dozen of the rarest grids in the Continental US, which for
whatever reason lie between two active VHF+ regions, which are separated
by a large pile of mountains... the Siskiyou range, in Southern Oregon and
Northern California...

Biggest obstacles will be road/weather conditions, and the price of Diesel
in these remote regions.

The "plan" if you could call it that, is to try to get on the road and
start the test somewhere around the South end of CN84, then work our way
towards the Pacific Coast and CN72, CN71 and CN70, then cut over to DN00,
DN01 and DN02, then head back towards the home grid of CN87.

If the weather is absolutely terrible then the route might stay well
within the Pacific Northwest region.

However, if the snow isn't piling up on the highways, there may be
opportunities for well-equipped stations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho,
Nevada, and California to work us on as many as 11 bands... (that is if I
can convince W7GLF to drag along his 24 Ghz station:-)

More to follow as planning progresses...
