Tom,
Upon first reading of Mike's E-Mail I too, thought he was looking for
run-of-the-mill 1/2" rebar.


However, then I saw he was specifying 1.125" or 1.5" size and I know
Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace Hardware don't carry that large of re-bar.
That's BIG stuff.

However, I do know that road and bridge construction consumes those
sizes and they dispose of scrap pieces to the local scrap dealers. I
figure he might have luck contacting his local DOT office or stop by a
bridge project site and ask.

Home Depot and other of this type of store sell rebar, not at low cost.
