Hi all,

I have been reading your posting on this reflector since a couple of
weeks, and I really enjoy following your plans and having a look to your
contest pictures.
It's nice to see so cool activity on your side of the ocean.

I will be travelling to CM88VB (Crockett, CA) this Agoust (35 days), and
I'm also taking my IC 706. I will actually prepare some wires for HF
once there, but I'm seriously considering to bring something for 6m and 2m.

I have a little 4el yagi for 2m that would fix into the bags...but my
smallest 6m beam is an HB9 that won't find place in it, but I think i
can manage it somehow.

I believe I will be in a good place for high bands...but my decision is
in your hands, since I really don't know how is VHF activity over there.
I don't know if there is any contest in that period, or if a lot of
station enjoy 2m DXing out of contests...

Okay, I will not ask anything about 6m openings, you guys have already
been enough clear today! :)

As VHF enthusiasts, would you move also 6m and 2m (small) stuff for such
a trip?

Thanks for any suggestion,

Alessio
