[VHFcontesting] HF nets for VHF activity?

Not sure. I know it was used a lot in the late 1970's and early 1980's when
I was in AL. Back then, most of the VHF weak-signal guys were General Class
or above, so 28.885 was the watering hole for VHF'ers.
